Strategic Growth Plan

The success of our schools depends upon the support of the entire Catholic community of South Carolina. In 2016, a strategic growth plan, We Believe, was developed to revitalize and strengthen Catholic schools in the Diocese of Charleston. Many of the objectives of that plan were met, but there is still much to do to ensure a thriving system of schools for generations to come.

Committed to ongoing improvement and growth, the Diocesan School Advisory Council (DSAC) and diocesan leaders came together in continuation of thoughtful planning and to look to the future. Using a parallel approach with the most recent accreditation process, the Office of Catholic Schools and DSAC invested time and talent during the 2021-2022 school year to prepare and create a new comprehensive strategic plan.

Our strategic plan is called Ignited by Faith, United in Learning. It tells the story of the past and the current state of our schools, and it will guide our system of Catholic schools over a three-year period beginning with the 2022-23 school year.
