Father Jewel Aytona, CPM, missionary preacher with the Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy in Auburn, KY will serve as our retreat master.  Our theme will center on evangelization in the modern world.  In the words of St. John Paul II, “This is no time to be ashamed of the Gospel.  It is time to preach it from the rooftops.”  The call to evangelize is not optional, yet most of us struggle to find meaningful ways to invite others to bear the yoke of Christ.  May this experience help us strive to proclaim Christ through both word and the testimony of our lives (CCC #905) as we unpack some of the modern day challenges that permeate our culture.
