Adoption and foster care is a calling and maybe the Lord is asking you to be a part of this important work. Your first question might be, “how can I help?”
- PRAY: Pray for everyone impacted by adoption and foster care. What is the Lord asking of me?
- AWARENESS: Bring awareness about adoption and foster care: activate your parish to learn, bring in a speaker, a foster parent
- SUPPORT: Help support a family who is adopting or fostering through spiritual, emotional or financial means
- ADOPT/FOSTER: Discern whether God may be calling you to adopt or foster a child.

Sound of Hope
The fight for kids begins July 4. Inspired by the powerful true story, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, follows Donna and Reverend Martin as they ignite a fire in the hearts of their rural church to embrace kids in the foster system that nobody else would take. By doing the impossible–adopting 77 children–this East Texas community proved that, with real, determined love, the battle for America’s most vulnerable can be won.
Sneak Preview at Azalea Square theater in Summerville on June 19. Limited tickets available at the link below.
