Giving Tuesday is December 1st, 2020!

Please join us in the #iGiveCatholic campaign and support our ministries as we share our mission to bring young people closer to Jesus. We need your help, and we are so thankful for those who have already sponsored retreats, conferences, and other events and programs across the Diocese.

Thank you so much for your prayerful consideration, and please follow this link below to donate or find more information!

#iGiveCatholic Youth & Young Adult Ministry

About Us

We are Catholic Young Adults across the state of South Carolina striving to live out the universal call to holiness. We gather in our parishes to build our communities in faith formation, fellowship, and service.

I want to find young adult events in my region.

I want to start a young adult ministry.

I want to learn more about evangelization and discipleship.

I want to submit a Young Adult event to be promoted on the website.

Upcoming Young Adult Events

The Office of Young Adult Ministry is so excited to invite you to join us for our first DIGITAL & PERSONAL retreat designed to meet young adults exactly where they are. Even though we cannot retreat in person like our regularly scheduled Fall Retreat, now more than ever, we still need time for rest, reflection, and prayer.

During this new liturgical year, we ask that you remember all of the events from this past year, have faith that God was with you in all of those moments, and hope for a new beginning.

Gather with us on Zoom every Thursday evening during the Advent season from 7:00- 8:30 p.m. and hear from our amazing speakers from ministries across the country. Fr. Michael Renninger (December 3rd), Chika Anyanwu (December 10th), and Pete Burak (December 17th) have a heart for teaching and will have an incredible presence to help start this new season.

To help us enter this retreat even more, check out this Advent Retreat Guide. It’s a booklet that includes daily Scripture passages to include in your prayer. The Scripture follows the Advent tradition of the Jesse Tree and reviews the major moments in Salvation history. God guided the Israelites through some difficult times, and in the same way, He is guiding you through your struggles and into a deeper relationship with Him.

Email Cara at clawley@charlestondiocese.org for the Zoom link or if you have any further questions about the retreat. But we hope to see you there!
