Seoul is a vibrant city that blends traditional and modern culture. With its historical sites, contemporary architecture, and diverse cultural experiences, it offers a unique backdrop for an international event like World Youth Day. As a major center of Catholicism in Asia, Seoul has a growing Catholic community. The city hosts numerous churches and pilgrimage sites, including the beautiful Myeongdong Cathedral, making it a spiritually enriching location for youth from around the world.
