The organizational structure of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate is as follows:

Diaconate Advisory Board

The role of the Diaconate Advisory Board is to advise the Director on formation and diaconate issues as they arise. The board also approves St. Stephen’s Fund requests. Members serve a three-year term.

Deanery Leadership Council

The role of the Deanery Leadership Council is to foster the smooth operation of the Permanent Diaconate by providing support to deacons and, thereby, supporting the Bishop and his priests. Deanery Leaders and Assistant Leaders serve a three-year term.
