Required Documents
- Deacons, Consecrated Men and Women and Lay Spiritual Director Covenants: Return the entire document signed and dated by you and your pastor or administrator.
- Diocese’s Policy Concerning the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Adults from Sexual Abuse by Church Personnel and Related Code of Conduct: Read the Policy and return only the signed and dated Appendix II.
- Social Media Policy: Return the entire signed and dated document.
- Safe Haven Training Certificates for both overall general Safe Haven training and vulnerable adults Safe Haven training: Go to https://cmgconnect.org and choose “Charleston.” Please contact your Safety Coordinator at your parish to assist you in accessing the Safe Haven online training and have a Background Check performed. (Clergy have already been cleared separately.)
- Spiritual Director Certificate: Submit a copy of your spiritual director certificate or transcript indicating your completion of training from a training program approved by the Diocese of Charleston.
