The Diocese of Charleston’s Bishop’s Office does not coordinate papal blessings or audiences. Those must be done through the following sources:
Papal Blessings — Written papal blessings on parchment for special occasions are available through the Vatican’s Office of Papal Charities (the Elmoniseria Apostolica). This office collects alms for the pope’s charities and produces papal blessings. Proceeds from parchment donations are distributed to people in need. Request a parchment online by clicking the link.
Papal Audiences & Liturgies — Click the link to request tickets for papal audiences and liturgies through the “Bishops’ Office for United States Visitors to the Vatican” for information about Vatican tours and to find useful tips for pilgrims. Remember: Tickets to any papal event are always FREE. The Bishop’s Office for United States Visitors to the Vatican will never ask for payment of any kind.
