Savannah Catholic Men’s Conference

Esto Vir! Be a Man! St. James Church in Savannah is holding a Catholic men’s conference Jan. 27 at St. James Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave. in Savannah, Georgia. The conference includes Mass, reconciliation, adoration and private prayer time — plus meals! The speakers are:

1. Deacon Larry Oney: president of Hope and Purpose Ministries, and chairman and CEO of HGI Global, one of the largest African-American owned firms in the U.S. He is known for his warm, animated and compassionate talks.
2. Father Brett Brannen: a priest of the Diocese of Savannah and former vice-rector at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. He previously served as a spiritual director at the Pontifical College Josephinum, is the author of two popular books on the priesthood and a nationally sought-out speaker.
