IVF, Infertility and You: Understanding the Ethical Dimensions
July 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
A webinar exploring the ethical dimensions of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs), with a specific focus on the ethical comparison between In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and NaProTECHNOLOGY, is planned.
Why This Webinar is Important:
Artificial Reproductive Technologies (ARTs) like IVF offer hope to many struggling with infertility, but their use brings complex ethical questions. NaProTechnology offers a different approach focused on treating underlying causes of infertility in a way that aligns with specific ethical considerations.
Meet Our Expert Speaker:
Sister Renée Mirkes, OSF, PhD is a Catholic religious sister, member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. She is a nationally-known and sought-after speaker, particularly on topics related to medical ethics, procreation, and sexuality from a Catholic perspective. She is currently the director of the ethics division of the Saint Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE. This organization focuses on NaProTechnology (Natural Procreative Technology), a women’s health science that works with the natural reproductive cycle.
