First Friday Table Talk
September 3, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
September’s special guests include: Fr. Joe Tedesco who will share a project in the making at Mepkin Abbey that focuses on reconciliation, unity and acknowledgment of the many slaves that are buried on the grounds of Mepkin Abbey. Mrs. Kathy Schmugee will share the good news of the opening of St. Clare’s House for unwed pregnant women and their families. Not only do we as Catholics advocate Pro Life initiatives, we are much more than just talk. Although there are no Black Saints from the United States, there are 6 on the road to sainthood. Sr. Roberta Fulton will explain why the life they lived as beacons of “transformational change” is most worthy of Sainthood. This event will take place via zoom. Registration is required.
