| $25The Diocesan Office of Black Catholics and Springbank Retreat Center is hosting a day of “Celebrating Black Spirituality in the spirit of Sister Thea Bowman” on Sunday, May 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Guest presenters include theologian Dr. C. Vanessa White, saxophonist Mark Sterbank, and trumpeter Charlton Singleton of the Grammy Award winning group Ranky Tanky. All are invited to join us for a day of good food, spirituality and music. Cost is $25 and includes lunch.
AGENDA
10 am to noon — Presentation by Dr. C. Vanessa White
12:15 pm — Lunch break with time to walk the grounds of Springbank
1:30 pm — Celebration of the Eucharist as one family
3-5 pm — Hymns and spirituals with Mark Sterbank and Charlton Singleton
