African-American Religious Diversity series: In the Baha’i Tradition
February 2, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
As part of the African-American Religious Diversity Speaker Series, Alonzo W. Nesmith, Jr., will offer a brief history of the Baha’i Faith and its world embracing teachings. He will share how some African Americans embrace and love of the Baha’i Faith has changed their life and worldly perspective. We also will take a special look at the amazing life of Louis G. Gregory and his encounter with the Baha’i Faith via his biographer, Gail Morrison. Louis G. Gregory is a native Charlestonian, Avery graduate, and Avery faculty member.
We hope you are able to join us and participate in this unifying and loving discussion.
