First Friday Table Talk August 2023

In July, Over 40 Black Catholics from the Charleston diocese along with Bishop Jacques Fabre-Jeune traveled to Washington, DC to represent as delegates in the 2023 National Black Catholic Congress’ Congress XIII. The theme for this year’s gathering was “Write the Vision, A PROPHETIC CALL TO THRIVE.” This gathering was a part of the development of the 2023-2028 National Black Catholics Evangelization Pastoral Plan. Several delegates will join us and share their unique experience and new resources they discovered at the national gathering. Sr. Pam will present the weather for the weekend and share a reflection on current events happening in the news from a Catholic Perspective.
