Mepkin Abbey is hosting a Pentecost afternoon ecumenical prayer service and sacred concert. This is co-sponsored by our Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs. The concert, featuring the Robert Taylor Chorale, features music composed by Cormac O'Duffy. The poems on which the music is based were composed by Father Josef Metzger, a pioneer ecumenist who was imprisoned and executed by the Nazi regime during World War II. A reception will follow. All are welcome.
