February is Black History Month and November 8th is international Day of Prayer &awareness against Human Trafficking. Ms. Yvonne Pygatt will share some history and resources from the National Council of Catholic Women on Human Trafficking and the feast day of Saint Josephine Bakhita . Mrs. Charlotte House will discuss ways to incorporate Black History month in CCD class and other youth gathering. Ms. Kathleen Merritt will discuss Valentine's Day as an opportunity to spread love in creative ways. Sr. Pam Smith will give our weather report, what to expect over the weekend and some history on Saint Josephine Bakhita. The audience will have the opportunity to test their knowledge on Black History and win some prizes. Father Michael Okere will be our spiritual leader to lead us in prayer.
