Father Joe Tedesco will share a project in the making at Mepkin Abbey that focuses on reconciliation, unity and acknowledgment of the many slaves that are buried on the grounds of the abbey. Kathy Schmugge will share the good news of the opening of St. Clare's Home for unwed pregnant women and their children. Although there are no Black saints from the United States, there are 6 on the road to sainthood, and Sister Roberta Fulton will explain why the life they lived as beacons of "transformational change" is most worthy of sainthood.
