All are invited to join the Office of Black Catholics for the 2024 Black Catholics Heritage Celebration. This year, our diocesan National Black Catholic Congress Congress XIII delegates will share with us the experience of Congress XIII. We had 45 delegates to attend and bring back information that will assist in the development of the five-year pastoral plan for the evangelization of Black Catholics. Bishop Jacques Fabre-Jeune, CS will have a listening session with the delegation and celebrate the Heritage Mass. There will also be a youth track. This is a two-day event beginning on Friday 2/9 and ends Saturday 2/10 with the Heritage Mass at 4pm. St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Columbia will be our hosting parish. We ask that you save the date. Registration will begin late December.
