Catholic Religion Teacher with Additional Experience in Social Studies or Literature

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a
Catholic Religion Teacher with additional expertise in either Social Studies or Literature. The ideal
candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction in Catholic
theology while also integrating their expertise in either Social Studies or Literature to enrich the
curriculum.

Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum for Catholic religion classes, catering to students
of diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
● Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where students can explore and
deepen their understanding of Catholic teachings.
● Integrate principles of Social Studies or Literature into the curriculum, providing interdisciplinary
connections and enriching educational experiences.
● Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum goals and ensure continuity of instruction across
grade levels.
● Support the spiritual development of students through prayer, reflection, and community service
initiatives.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Theology, Social Studies, Literature, or a related field
● Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic doctrine and teachings.
● Previous experience teaching Catholic religion or related subjects in an educational setting.
● Additional expertise in Social Studies or Literature
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage parents and guardians in the
educational process.
