Based on the book by Thomas W. McGovern, MD, What Christ Suffered: A Doctor’s Journey Through the Passion, the Cathedral Women’s Club is hosting a talk April 4 on the suffering of Christ from physicians’ perspectives. It will be presented by:

  • Elizabeth Higgins, MD, Hospice & Palliative Care Physician, Associate Professor of Medicine, Parishioner at the Church of the Nativity
  • Sophia Urban, MD, MPH, Hospice & Palliative Care Fellow, Parishioner at the Cathedral

Light refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m., and the talks begin at 7:00 p.m. It will be held in the Parish Center at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 120 Broad Street in Charleston

This program is open to all and free of charge. Parking is available in the church lot or in the Queen Street parking garage.
