Fr. Becket Soule, a Dominican friar of the United States Eastern Province, graduated from Davidson College, the Episcopal Divinity School, the University of Dallas and Harvard University. He holds a professional certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University.

 Fr. Becket has taught at the Catholic University of America, the Pontifical College Josephinum, St Paul University and Oxford University. He has been visiting lecturer and fellow at other institutions of higher studies in the United States, Great Britain, and Ukraine.

 After serving as an official for the Congregation for the Eastern Churches in Rome, he became the first Judicial Vicar and Episcopal Vicar for the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. He was Catholic Campus Minister at the College of William and Mary and continues to be in demand internationally as a lecturer, preacher, and retreat master. Fr. Becket is now Ordinary Professor of Canon Law at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC, where he had previously served as dean and vice president.
