Happy Juneteenth! The practice of celebrating Juneteenth Independence Day dates back more than 150 years. Please join us at the celebration!
Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19 each year and is a federal holiday. The Office of Black Catholics will host our diocesan celebration on June 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. to 12 noon via Zoom. Our presenters include Bishop Jacques Fabre-Jeune, Father Michale Okere, Dr. Kevin Johnson and Dr. Alison McLetchie. Hosted by Kathleen Merritt and Michael Gourdin. All are invited! Registration required.
