It’s Black History MonthFeb. 8 is International Day of Prayer & Awareness Against Human TraffickingIt is also the feast of St. Josephine Bakhita. Join us as Yvonne Pygatt will share some history and resources from the National Council of Catholic Women on human trafficking and the feast day of St. Bakhita. Charlotte House will discuss ways to incorporate Black History Month in religious education class and other youth gatherings. Kathleen Merritt will discuss Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to spread love in creative ways. Sr. Pam Smith will give our weather report, what to expect over the weekend and some ministry updates. The audience will have the opportunity to test their knowledge on Black History and win some prizes!
