The world has changed…but has your ministry with young people?

In order to form teenage missionary disciples, we must become “architects and agents of encounter.”  Most young people today are indigenous to a postmodern epistemology and come to know truth more through experience than cognitive reasoning.  Transitioning from a belief-oriented approach to an encounter focused approach is essential to reaching young people.  For most teens, the entrance ramp to a personal faith is a relational encounter with God. This seminar shows us how to help facilitate both initial and ongoing encounters with God.

You’ll Discover

    • The practical tools for
      helping facilitate both initial
      and ongoing encounters
      with God.
    • How accompaniment is
      the essential language of
      encounter and the practical
ways we can walk with young people.
    • How to help young people
      discover and engage with
      the many ways God is
      encountering them.
    • How Jesus encountered
      others and the resulting
      practical steps for interpersonal
      evangelization of
      young people.
