Beaufort Deanery hosts trip to Santa Elena, where it all began

The Beaufort Deanery celebrates the 200th Anniversary of the Diocese of Charleston. We will take you to the place where it all began Santa Elena, South Carolina, Spanish City.
We will meet at St. Peter Church parking lot
70 Lady’s Island Drive
Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 9:45 a.m.
We will travel by bus to Parris Island where we will view the site of Santa Elena. Dr. Lawrence Rowland will speak on the history of Santa Elena. After lunch, Sister Pamela Smith will speak on the history of the Charleston Diocese.
