Beaufort Deanery: Commemoration of Early Diocesan Foundations & Spanish Evangelization of SC

The Beaufort deanery, in cooperation with Parris Island Marine Corp Base and the Santa Helena Foundation, is planning to commemorate the Spanish Evangelization of South Carolina and early diocesan foundations in the deanery. Major emphasis will be on St. Peter Church in Beaufort. A secondary celebration of the St. James community in Walterboro will happen at a later date.
