Myrtle Beach, SC – Taste of the Town, presented by St. Andrew Catholic School, features dozens of the area’s finest restaurants serving up tapas-style samplings of their menu specialties, Better Brands’ Autumn Ale House and RNDC’s Wine Patio. Restaurants compete for bragging rights as they strive to win an award, some of which include Best Entrée, Best Dessert, People’s Choice and Kids’ Choice Favorite Entrée, and more. In addition to fantastic food options from some of our area’s finest restaurants, the Taste of the Town will again offer a variety of beer and wine presented by Better Brands Inc., RNDC, and Pepsi Bottling Ventures. Myrtle Beach’s Southern Kind is providing live entertainment for 2021.

New this year is our curbside pick-up option with online ordering. We are taking extra precautions against COVID- 19 to help protect our volunteers and event attendees. We are asking all our volunteers and vendors to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth. Face masks are highly recommended for all attendees and will be provided at the door. Disinfectants available at dining tables for attendees to use. Reinforced protocols for cleaning common areas and constant disinfection of places used by the public as well as hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, along with soap and water will be available.

Taste of the Town doors open at 4:00 PM, the event ends at 10:00 PM. Admission tickets may be purchased in advance for $5 at St. Andrew Catholic School and Church or online at www.totmb.org. Admission tickets are also available at the door for $6. Children 14 and under are admitted free with paying adult. Food tickets will be available inside the event for $1 per ticket; dishes typically cost between 1-4 tickets per serving. Parking is available for $5 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center unless you have a City of Myrtle Beach sticker. Free parking is available across Oak Street in the empty lot.

Taste of the Town has become a fall tradition for the Grand Strand over the last thirty-six years. Funds raised during the event have been able to support building and technology improvements within and around the school. In addition to capital improvements, St. Andrew Catholic School also donates a portion of the proceeds to local charities including Help4Kids and Catholic Charities.
