2022 Prison Ministry Conference

The 2022 Prison Ministry Conference will take place Saturday, Oct. 29, at Our Lady of the Hills Church in Columbia. This diocesan-wide conference is for experienced volunteers and anyone looking to become a volunteer. This is an opportunity to connect with other volunteers to share ideas and resources. Session topics include:

• Understanding differences in federal, state and county correctional facilities
• Options for presenting RCIA inside the prison system
• How to work with various chaplains and ecumenical groups to better serve men and women
• Re-entry support and options across the state
• Recruiting volunteers
• And much more!
