Church of the Nativity

Church of the Nativity is looking for a  SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST to work 30-40 a week. 

Duties include general receptionist tasks such as answering telephone calls and assisting walk-in persons, 

preparing families and appropriate staff for funerals, updating church registers with sacramental information, 

maintaining church database, preparing quarterly Church ministry schedules, screening and reporting for 

Safe Environment, drafting letters, overseeing bulletin and parish communications, handling other 

administrative duties/data entry, and assisting the pastor and other staff members in administrative 

duties. Must be very familiar with MS Word and Excel and have the ability to learn other programs as needed. 

Candidate should possess strong organizational and time management skills, strong interpersonal skills,

 the ability to communicate effectively and with empathy, and execute a high level of confidentiality. 

Knowledge of the Catholic faith is preferred, but not required. If you are interested, please email a resume,
