Job Description: Our Kindergarten (K5) Teaching Assistant will be responsible for reinforcing lessons by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups; following school and class rules to teach students proper behavior; assisting teacher with recordkeeping, such as taking attendance and calculating grades; gathering equipment or materials to help teacher prepare for lessons; supervising students outside of the classroom, such as between classes, during lunch and recess, and on field trips. The teacher assistant will work under the guidance of a licensed teacher and school administration to provide individualized attention to all students.

Requirements: Minimum of High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. Preferred to have earned at least 6 college units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education or at least three months experience in an Early Childhood Education program or child-care setting.
