Position Title: Bilingual (En/Esp) Editing and Design Assistant

Position Summary: Provide translation and editorial support for short-term and long-term projects plus design assistance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assisting with translating, creating, editing, publishing and disseminating content for internal and external communications, including online and in print, for various stakeholders.
  • Creating and editing written content in Spanish and English for social media.
  • Planning and executing internal and external correspondence in Spanish and English.
  • Writing and formatting e-blasts.
  • Creating digital images, artwork, and flyers with Canva, InDesign, Kittl, or Adobe Express.

Qualifications:

  • Required to be fully bilingual in Spanish and English in both written and verbal forms.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English is required.
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal, written, etc.).
  • Previous experience working in a team environment is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously with both short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills are required.
  • Previous experience with a multitude of design software programs and Microsoft Suite applications is required.
  • Experience scheduling social media posts and e-blasts is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic familiarity with AP Style and OSV News Style is a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.
