Introduction

Carter May Homes is an assisted living facility located in Charleston, SC through Catholic Charities.  Residents receive full-time non-medical care while enjoying daily activities.

Job Description

Carter May is in need of an Aide that can work 1^st shift for 32 hours a week, including some weekends.  Duties include resident care, housekeeping, and laundry. Min. H. S. diploma plus one year working in a health care or medical setting required.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Housekeeping-Resident rooms
• Laundry services
• Assisting with meal service and clean up
• Conversation and companionship

Requirements

• Minimum H.S. Diploma
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to communicate both verbal and written
• Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
• Must be able to work independently
