Job Description:

The Bilingual Adult Hispanic Faith Formation Coordinator will be responsible for teaching and coordinating Faith Formation classes and activities for the Hispanic Catholic community.  The Adult Hispanic Faith Formation Coordinator will also work with Adjunct Professors on the registration and curriculum of Hispanic Faith Formation classes.

Responsibilities:

  • Bilingual skills required (English/Spanish)
  • Promote Hispanic Faith Formation classes at Diocesan and Deanery meetings
  • Organize annual Hispanic Faith Formation conference
  • Assist Pastors in developing Hispanic leadership at each Parish
  • Create marketing materials
  • Respond to Hispanic Faith Formation students’ inquiries
  • Oversee departmental budget and revenue
  • Coordinate advanced Faith Formation certification with the Office of Catechesis

Requirements:

  • Two years’ experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under supervision
  • Knowledge, love, and practice of Catholic teachings
  • Graduate degree in Theology or Catechesis is preferred
  • Active Driver’s License
  • Ability to work weekends and nights
