Diocese of Charleston: Our Lady of Sorrows Grief Ministry 

For all those experiencing grief over the loss of a spouse, child, friend, this grief series titled “Transformation of Mourning: Grief & Loss of Those We Cherish” can be delivered upon request at a parish for a weekend or Saturday retreat. It is also offered twice a year around Christmas and Easter, one evening a week for 7 weeks. The topics covered are stages of grief, alone vs. lonely, angels and saints assisting us, Our Lady of Sorrows meditative devotion, and the power of praise, to name just a few. Behold Your Child is a ministry developed by the Archdiocese of Dubuque to help provide hope and healing for parents and families who have experienced a life-limiting prenatal diagnosis, miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death (whether recently or years ago).

Red Bird Ministries serves ordinary families who have been given an extraordinary cross to carry through an organization that systematically guides individuals through the complexity and trauma that happens with the loss of a child from pregnancy through childhood.

For those who suffered directly or indirectly from an abortion. We have one-on-one accompaniment, weekend retreats, and one-day retreats. The weekend retreats are offered in English and Spanish.
