DESCRIPTION:Join Columbia’s 40 Days for Life Rally as they close out the fall campaign with prayer. \nMatt Britton\, board member and general counsel of 40 Days for Life\,  will tell the story of this groundbreaking effort in Columbia on Nov. 4. The rally begins at 10:30 a.m. at 2719 Middleburg Drive in Columbia. We will also hear from other local prolife leaders! Read more below: \n \nMatt Britton is a board member and general counsel of the peaceful\, prayerful\, effective 40 Days for Life project. \n“People in Columbia have made extraordinary sacrifices to expose the abortion industry and to protect pre-born children and their mothers from abortion\,” Britton said. “I’m honored to be able to join these folks in prayer. Their efforts illustrate why we’re seeing historic changes — more mothers choosing life\, more abortion workers experiencing conversions and leaving the abortion industry\, and more abortion centers closing their doors for good.” \nMaureen Weigold\, spokesperson for the Columbia campaign\, said\, “We are tremendously pleased that Matt will be here to support our 40 Days for Life effort. He’s an energetic\, enthusiastic speaker and we know he will be an inspiration.” \nColumbia is one of hundreds of communities around the world conducting simultaneous 40 Days for Life campaigns from Sept. 27 to Nov. 5 this year. \n40 Days for Life is an intensive campaign that focuses on 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion\, peaceful vigil at abortion facilities and grassroots educational outreach. SUMMARY:Eucharistic Miracles Traveling Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Experience the diocesan Eucharistic Miracle exhibit\, a curated selection from the Eucharistic Miracle exhibit originally created by Blessed Carlo Acutis.  It consists of 28 bilingual (English/Spanish) bifold panels that recount several Eucharistic miracles documented throughout the history of the Church.  The exhibit is divided into 4 categories\, each with an audio-visual guide accessible on mobile devices through the use of a QR code. \nThe panels will be on display in the church lobby and available for viewing prior to and following all weekend Masses\,\nas well as prior to the parish Advent Eucharist Renewal evenings\, including our Eucharistic Revival\nparish retreat: \nDec. 1\, 5:30-6pm (Eucharistic Holy Hour 6pm)\nDec. 8\, 5-6:00pm (6pm Mass followed by day 1 of parish retreat)\nDec. 9\, 4-5:00pm (5pm Mass followed by day 2 of parish retreat)\nDec. 10\, 5-6:00 pm (6pm day 3 of parish retreat)\nDec. 15\, 5:30-6pm (Eucharistic Holy Hour 6pm) \n  \n
