DESCRIPTION:Join us for the grand opening of the Retreat at Heritage\, 979 Locust Grove Road Southeast in Crawfordville\, Georgia. We will celebrate Divine Mercy Weekend\, April 5-7\, including reflections on Divine Mercy on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Enjoy a Saturday morning open house at Pine Lodge and explore 200 acres of prayer gardens\, sacred art and walking trails. There will be an opportunity to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet as a group on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. \nThe site was Georgia’s first Catholic Church and cemetery\, founded in 1790\, when all of North and South Carolina and Georgia were part of the Diocese of Charleston. The Retreat at Heritage and Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary are now part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
