Celebrating Mother’s Day

Let’s celebrate the gift of motherhood in our parish and in our own families. In our church, we can include them in the homily, prayers of the faithful and set up a special blessing for them after Mass. Special gifts of flowers can be given or a plantable flower seed to show appreciation for how they nurture and help us grow. In our families, we can offer a Holy Mass for them, do act of service by having a chore-free day, give a hand-made gift craft or write a special letter written from the heart.
